On June 2nd, we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary at our Andersonville location. 25 years! From a small storefront optometry practice to an expansion for retail to a two-location, LGBTQIA+ Black Owned business firmly in touch with the community around them, Visionary has kept its dream of helping everyday people see better every day alive and well.
We are more than your neighbors, we are your champions. Every patient, every family, every new addition, and every dog who visits us becomes part of our team. We root for your best health and your best options when it comes to your eyes.

We have not only expanded our offices, we have expanded our care. We’ve added interns and more knowledgeable opticians to help you get what you need as fast and as carefully as possible. We have a concierge front door service to help guide you through your visit since COVID-19 made us apprehensive about in-person visits again. We added curbside pickup and a new Dry Eye Clinic, plus a bespoke frame crafting service – all to make sure we’ve thought of everything for your sight.
Even our early windows had that special flair.
We could not have made this milestone without the support of the incredible Andersonville neighborhood. From early drinks at Tomboy and Stargaze to now having breakfasts at Svea and having our holiday parties at Jin Ju, we’ve eaten everything on Clark Street. We’ve shopped, danced, whooped it up at the festivals, and made more coffee runs than should be legal. Andersonville truly has it all, and we’re so honored to be a part of what it has to offer

Our Andersonville location will also be closed from June 12th – 14th in order for our staff to celebrate, but we come back stylin’ with a Featured Collection from LA Eyeworks on June 15th. The collection is viewable in-store and by appointment only, with frames ordered for purchase.
