We are sending Chicago and all of our Visionaries love and good health as we write this. We hope you’re finding enough activities and spots of joy to keep you occupied and healthy during our shelter-in-place. We also hope you’re taking good care of your eyes, eye wear, and contacts. We’ll have some tips on those last three coming soon. In the meanwhile, it’s time for an update. As before, we are paying close attention to the regulations made necessary by the Coronavirus pandemic, and we are still committed to following those guidelines as best we can. We are watching our federal, state, and local health officials update us daily, as we know you are.
Visionary Eye Care is committed to the welfare of our patients and customers, as well as our staff, and we will continue to you of the measures we’ve taken and will continue to take during this difficult time.
- Both of our locations are closed until further notice. Illinois’ stay-at-home order continues to extend, and we will be following our governor’s orders in order to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Currently, the order ends on April 30, but we want to watch and see if that is extended again as we get closer to the date. We are committed to flattening the curve, and that outweighs our want to open our doors.
- We are still checking voicemail, so if you have any questions, please feel free to call. You may also email us at info@visionaryec.com. If you have any medical questions, we encourage you to contact your doctor through our patient portal. We appreciate your patience in awaiting our response, as we are working with a smaller staff at this time.
- If you are dealing with an eye related medical emergency, please contact the office or your doctor directly through the portal. We have limited slots available for such emergencies, and they will be taken on a case-by-case basis.
- Refill your contacts online. Click on the “Buy Contacts” link. You’ll be taken to our online portal where ordering your contacts is as easy as clicking a button.
We are so thankful for your continued patronage, for your trust in us, and for your vigilance in taking care of yourselves and others in your community. We miss our patients and customers and staff more than we can express, and we hope to see your smiling faces soon.
