Rob has been a customer of Visionary’s Andersonville branch since 2004 and says he has purchased every pair of his glasses (and contact lenses) from there since then!
He recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for his first book, Expensive Travel, a passion project of his for years now. An affectionate and satirical look at the world of luxury travel, this 65-page book contains essays on a variety of topics — hotel rooms, spas, wine, sport and more — accompanied by numerous full-color photos from a decade’s worth of travels to Argentina, Croatia, Namibia, Vanuatu and dozens of countries in between. Of course, pairs of glasses from Visionary often make appearances, as seen here (look closely!):
Many of the photos take you inside some of the world’s most beautiful and exclusive hotels. Rob hopes that regular globetrotters and armchair travelers alike find this photographic romp around the world to be inspirational (and funny).
